We welcome visitors of all ages to tour the University Park Campus of USC. To ensure the safety and well-being of all campus visitors, the Admission Center requires at least one adult (parent, chaperone, guardian, teacher or counselor, to name a few) to accompany and supervise visitors under the age of 16.

The “bad” part is to the west of campus and to the south of the Exposition complex, you’re on the east side of campus. You’ll be fine. As mlgb has said, don’t wander around at night. Try and get a room facing the campus and not the freeway.
