Is Deep Sky Stacker free?

Does Deep Sky Stacker auto align?
Before images can be aligned and stacked, they usually have to be calibrated first (See Sidebar: Calibration). Then they need to be aligned before they can be stacked. Deep SkyStacker does all of this automatically for you.
What is a good score in Deep Sky Stacker?
The numbers range from 3500’s to 6500’s. The better scope shows high numbers in the 6500 range and the other has high numbers in the 4600 range.

How do you stack astrophotography videos?
Star stacking requires capturing multiple shots at the same shutter speed so that they can be aligned and averaged later. The more shots you have, the less noisy the star stacked result will be, but only up to a point before sensor pattern noise starts being visible, or you completely exhaust the signal to noise ratio.

The Drizzle algorithm produces a blank image that is several times the size of the original images being stacked. With 2x Drizzle for example, the blank image is two times as large in number of pixels in both directions (width and height).
