Is Mineplex 2020 down?
Mineplex will shut down when it stops being profitable. It has nothing to do with the community or Alex’s hiring processes. This could certainly mean Java in the 2020 decade, but not necessarily Bedrock. Mineplex was never rebuilding or rebranding, it was just continuing to exist as it always did.
Has Mineplex been shut down?
The European network at eu.mineplex.com has been shut down in August 2019 for similar reasons (as announced here), however, players can still connect to the EU-based IP which will redirect them to the US servers. People who play on Mineplex or participate in the Mineplex forums are generally known as Mineplexians.
