Can you add navigation to Uconnect 430 RBZ?
Like you I have the 430 RBZ with no nav. The only way to add navigation that I know of is to add the combination of components from Nav-TV and Directus’s Prodigy One. The navigation software is by IGO Primo, which is very good. It is not cheap, but cheaper than purchasing a 430n or 730n from the dealer.

- Copy the latest ‘uconnect. upn’ file to a blank FAT32 formatted USB 2.0 thumb drive.
- Start the Jeep.
- Insert USB thumb stick with file on it into the USB port inside the center console.
- press the “phone” button.
- Say “Setup Software Update”

Are Uconnect map updates worth it?
Well-Known Member. I learned from prior experience with my wife’s Cherokee that the uconnect map upgrades are not worth the price. They are at best 6-12 months already “old” when they come out. Things are much better and cheaper with Android Auto or Carplay and using google maps, etc which are constantly up to date.
