Staron Solid Surface Countertops Care and Maintenance

  1. Do not cut directly on a Staron® surface; always use a cutting board.
  2. Run cold water when pouring boiling water into sinks.
  3. Remove nail polish with a non-acetone-based nail polish remover and flush with water.

Is Staron heat resistant?

A: Staron® Solid Surfaces is heat-resistant and will remain stable and undamaged up to 212¨¬ F. However, high heat or flame can damage the surface. In most cases it can be repaired. To protect the countertop, always use a heat pad or trivet.
